La carte postale est intitulée «Bruxelles. - L'Arcade Monumentale». Elle est de l'éditeur L. Lagaert Bruxelles («L. L. B.») et porte le N. 291. Le côté recto est divisé et en français et en flamand.

Les Arcades du Cinquantenaire (en néerlandais : Triomfboog van het Jubelpark) sont un monument érigé à Bruxelles à l'initiative du roi Léopold II, en commémoration du cinquantième anniversaire de l'indépendance de la Belgique.

Le bassin au premier plan n'existe plus parce que maintenant le Tunnel Cinquantenaire y a une ouverture.
