Titel: | Ponte Pietra | Aufnahmestandort: | Piazzetta Brà Molinari, Verona. | Beschreibung: | Der Ponte Pietra (Italienisch für Steinbrücke) ist eine römische Bogenbrücke über den Fluss Etsch in Verona (Italien). Der lateinische Name der um 100 v. Chr. gebauten Brücke lautete in der Antike Pons marmoreus ("Marmorbrücke"). Sie wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg von zurückziehenden deutschen Truppen größtenteils zerstört, aber 1957 aus Originalmaterial wieder errichtet. |
