Titel: Gefährliche Schotterwände am Domatastrand
Aufnahmestandort:

Am Domata-Strand, entlang des Europäischen Weitwanderweg E4. Der Domata-Strand liegt ziemlich genau zwischen Agía Rouméli und dem Ausgang der Tripiti-Schlucht.

Beschreibung:

Der Domata-Strand besteht Schotterstrand und einer sehr hohen, teilweise losen Konglomeratbank mit über 20 Meter hohen Wänden bestehen aus gebanktem Schotter und teilweise festerem Konglomerat. Am E4, der darunter durchführt, hält man gerne einen Respektabstand.

Der Strand liegt nett und ausgesprochen einsam. Unter drei Stunden Gehzeit kommt man zu keiner Ansiedlung (Agia Roumeli im Osten) und es gibt weit und breit kein Trinkwasser. Die Bucht ist also eher bei Bootstouristen beliebt.
