| Titel: | Schwefelkristalle am «Stufe» | | Aufnahmestandort: | Im Solfatara-Krater von Pozzuoli. | | Beschreibung: | Im nördlichen Karterbereich hat man im 19. Jhd. Dampfhöhlen für Kurzwecke ("Stufe" genannt) aus Ziegelsteinen angelegt. Im Laufe der Zeit wurden die austretenden Dämpfe dort aber zu heiss und zu sehr schwefelhaltig. Heute kann man sich der Konstruktion von Aussen nähern, aber kaum in die beiden Kammern eintreten. |
