Die heutige Wiener Albertina steht auf einem der letzten erhalten Abschnitte der Wiener Befestigungsanlagen, der Augustinerbastei. Das Palais Erzherzog Albrecht ist ein Palais im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt. Das Palais ist offiziell unter dem Namen Albertina bekannt. Dieser bezieht sich auf die im Palais befindliche grafische Sammlung Albertina. Bis zum Ende des Ersten Weltkrieges war das Palais stets Wohnort des Oberbefehlshabers der k.u.k. österreichisch-ungarischen Armee.
