Der Hochstrahlbrunnen am Wiener Schwarzenbergplatz wurde anlässlich der Fertigstellung der ersten Wiener Hochquellenwasserleitung am 24. Oktober 1873 in Betrieb genommen.

Er verdeckt ziemlich gut das unbeliebte Russendenkmal.
