| Titel: | Wald Hofsstaðaskógur | | Aufnahmestandort: | Im Süden der Halbinsel Snæfellsnes auf Island. | | Beschreibung: | Der Hofsstaðaskógur ist ein 12 ha grosse Waldinsel die ab 1956 angelegt wurde und die noch immer lächerlich klein wirkt. Das Wäldchen wird von der Skógræktarfélag Íslands betreut, wie die meisten anderen kleinen Waldinseln auf Island. Es gibt hier Tische mit Banken und mit Holzschnitzel (!) gestreute Wanderwege, aber leider kein Klo (Taschentücher im Wald). Hinten der Berg Lágafellshyrna, 230 m, der wohl den nötigen Schutz bildet, dass der Wald hier überhaupt gedeihen kann. | | Schlüsselwörter: | Wald, Weg, Schild |
