Der Olperer ist ein 3476 Meter hoher Berg in den Zillertaler Alpen im österreichischen Bundesland Tirol. Er ist der Hauptgipfel des Tuxer Kammes und wird im Sommer oft von der Olpererhütte aus zur Geraer Hütte überschritten. Die Erstbesteigung über den Südostgrat fand 1867 durch Paul Grohmann, Georg Samer und Jakob Huber statt. An seiner Nordflanke liegt das Skigebiet Hintertuxer Gletscher auf dem Gletscher Gefrorene-Wand-Kees (auch Tuxer Ferner genannt). | | Schlüsselwörter: | Berg, Gletscher |
