Description:

Fondée au 12e siècle par des moines de l'ordre des Prémontrés, l'abbaye de Middelbourg abrite deux églises gothiques: la Nieuwe Kerk (au premier plan avec les deux nefs) et la Koorkerk.

L'église est spartiate parce qu'elle avait été fortement endommagée durant la seconde guerre mondiale.
