Diese Giebelform hat in Renaissance und Barock Verwendung gefunden. Meist ist der Giebel in mehrere Teile, die höhenmässig schmaler werden, unterteilt. Er wird von einem halbrunden und dreieckigen Maueraufsatz bekrönt.
