Bedeutende Türben sind die der verstorbenen türkischen Herrscher in Istanbul und Bursa; es handelt sich dabei meistens um architektonisch prachtvoll geschmückte Gebäude, in deren Innerem der Kenotaph oder Sarg (sanduka oder tabut) des Toten steht.
