Description:

L'acomat boucan (Sloanea carabiea) n'a pas de racines profondes, il s'aide de racines calant littéralement le tronc. Celui-ci pousse en plus sur une crête et ceci rend les racines en contre-fort encore plus hautes. Cet arbre peut atteindre 40 mètres de haut.
