狭叶薰衣草又名薰衣草、真薰衣草、英国薰衣草，是唇形科，薰衣草属的一种灌木。原产于地中海地区的西部，主要产于西班牙北部的山脉与比利牛斯山脉。.

狭叶薰衣草具有强烈的香味，植株高度约一至二米高。叶为常绿性，叶长2-6厘米，叶宽0.4-0.6厘米。花色为粉紫色（薰衣草色），花序为穗状花序，著生在枝条顶端，花序长2-8厘米，花序下有一枝细长且无叶的茎，茎长10-30厘米。.

狭叶薰衣草虽然被称为英国薰衣草，不过并不是英国原产的植物。以前认为薰衣草（Lavandula officinalis）与狭叶薰衣草是两种不同的植物，新的研究则认为两者是同一种植物，而将薰衣草的学名Lavandula officinalis处理为狭叶薰衣草的同种异名。.

其种小名angustifolia的中文意思是"狭叶".
