| Titel: | Kirche St. Pankratius von Glurns | | Aufnahmestandort: | Im Südwesten der Ausserstadt von Glurns. | | Beschreibung: | Wenige Meter ausserhalb der Stadtmauern liegt südlich der Etsch die katholische Kirche St. Pankratius. Der spätgotische Bau hat einen barocken Zwiebelturm. Die Kirche wurde um das Jahr 1481 an der Stelle eines älteren Gotteshauses aus dem 13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Ein Fresko, das auf das Jahr 1496 datiert ist, zeigt ein Motiv des Jüngsten Gerichtes. 1965 wurde der ursprünglich spätgotisch ausgestattete Innenraum restauriert. | | Schlüsselwörter: | Kirche, Turm |
