Titre: | Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite à Epfig | Prise de: | A l'est de la route des Vins d'Alsace, à la hauteur de Blienschwiller. | Description: | C’est une chapelle romane du 9e siècle construit en forme de croix latine avec un clocher massif reposant sur quatre piliers à l’intersection des transepts. Le site est occupé depuis l’époque Gallo-Romaine. Une galerie-porche à colonnes est ajoutée au 12e siècle sur deux côtés de la chapelle. Ce type de construction est un exemple unique en Alsace. A l'intérieur de belles fresques murales du 14e siècle sont visibles. | Mots clés: | église, roman |
