Beschreibung:

Bild zusammengesetzt aus Einzelphotos.

Lavatunnel entstehen wenn die Aussenseite der frischen Lava abkühlt und erstarrt, darunter die flüssige Lava aber weiter ausfliesst und der Nachschub ausbleibt. Dieser hier ist etwa 10 m hoch und mindestens ebenso breit, aber es gibt diese Formation je nach Viskosität der Lava auch viel kleiner oder grösser.
