Die Narzissen (Narcissus) bilden eine Pflanzengattung in der Unterfamilie der Amaryllidoideae innerhalb der Familie der Amaryllisgewächse (Amaryllidaceae). Die Art Narcissus pseudonarcissus wird oft auch Osterglocke genannt. Der natürliche Verbreitungsschwerpunkt liegt in Südwesteuropa und Nordwestafrika. Nur wenige Arten kommen auch im Küstengebiet des östlichen Mittelmeers vor.
