La bourrine est une construction de type vendéen construite dans les zones marécageuses de cette région. Avec des murs en terre et recouverte d'une toiture de roseaux, elle est un exemple de l'exploitation des ressources locales pour la construction de bâtiments.

En été elle sert de restaurant.
