Au sommet du piton rocheux sur lequel sont attachées les maisons, on retrouve les ruines du château médiéval de Castelbouc, détruit en 1592 sur ordre des États du Gévaudan, afin qu'il ne puisse pas servir de refuge aux protestants durant les guerres de religion. |
