Titel: | Blühende Montpellier-Zistrose auf Elba | Aufnahmestandort: | Am «Percorso Pietre Rosse» zwischen der Casa Nardelli und dem Strassensattel zwischen Rio nell'Elba und Nisportino, Rio nell'Elba, Livorno, Italien. | Beschreibung: | Die Montpellier-Zistrose ist ein stark aromatisch duftender Strauch von etwa 30 bis 100 Zentimeter Wuchshöhe. Die Blätter sind kreuzgegenständig, sitzend, 2 bis 6 Zentimeter lang und lineal-lanzettlich; die Ränder sind stark nach unten gerollt. Die Oberseite ist dunkelgrün und spärlich behaart, die Unterseite ist heller und dicht sternhaarig. Die Blütezeit reicht von April bis Juni. Die Montpellier-Zistrose ist eine west- und zentralmediterrane Art, die westwärts bis zu den Kanaren und Madeira vorkommt und nach Osten bis zur Ägäisküste des festländischen Griechenlands mit lokalen Außenposten auf Naxos und Kreta, der türkischen Ägäisküste und auf Zypern reicht. | Schlüsselwörter: | Wald, Pflanze, Blüte, Macchie |
