Mai 1842 fast vollständig dem Hamburger Brand zum Opfer. Erhalten blieben die nördliche Außenmauer, die Nebenapsis bis etwa sieben Meter Höhe und die beiden unteren Turmgeschosse. Sieben Jahre später fand an gleicher Stelle die Einweihung des neugotischen Neubaus statt, errichtet nach den Plänen der Architekten Alexis de Chateauneuf und Hermann Peter Fersenfeldt. | | Schlüsselwörter: | Kirche, neugotisch, weiss |
