Der Arco di Riccardo (Richardsbogen) ist das älteste Monument Triests. Das über sieben Meter hohe Tor ist der letzte noch erhaltene Bestandteil der römischen Stadtmauer, die unter Kaiser Augustus im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. errichtet und 33 n. Chr. verschönert wurde.
