Le Pavillon Henri Chrétien (PHC) était initialement conçu comme maison d'habitation des astronomes car le chemin retour à la ville était loin et on travaille la nuit.

De nos jours, le corps central du bâtiment est comme bureaux pour le personnel de l'établissement. Il n'a pas l'air en bon état.
